A magnetic buzzer, also known as an electromechanical buzzer, produces sound using an electromagnetic principle where a current-driven coil creates a magnetic field that vibrates a ferromagnetic disk, much like a loudspeaker. Unlike piezo buzzers, which use piezoelectric materials, magnetic buzzers require a higher current and are typically powered by a DC voltage to operate at their resonant frequency.
